This is my reaction to the idea of yet another massive oil pipeline project going right through the heart of the US. Yes, i know we still need to maintain the current oil-based energy infrastructure to some extent for the time being, but do we really need a to build something that’s is almost guaranteed to leak and cause damage. If we’re going to invest so much energy and resources into something, why not green energy.
I know not al the tech is there yet, but it’s totally feasible to scale it up much faster than we are now in the US.
