Challenge
Virlo AI needed to make its creator analytics platform feel approachable for short-form video creators who found trend data and timing insights overwhelming.
The onboarding experience required a mascot that could visually communicate "going viral" while guiding users through complex workflows without feeling corporate or generic.
Solution
Created Vivi, the Viral Flame—a friendly, energetic character designed with rounded flame shapes, warm gradients, and expressive eyes to balance momentum with approachability.
Developed 6 custom onboarding illustrations featuring Vivi in different guidance scenarios (welcoming, celebrating, exploring), maintaining consistent character design while adapting poses to match specific workflow steps.
